Whether you are a recent college graduate or just a singer trying to keep up with all your buddies networking now is an integral part of life. If you do not have a Myspace page I would recommend building one. It doesn't have to be fancy or complicated just an outlet to the world and a source of contact with other singers or hosts.

For a business in the music profession, Myspace is a logical way to keep the public informed of gigs and activities. My page is setup more for business but I have bars, bands, hosts and singers as friends. It is fun to go to another host show and as a friend on Myspace there is a partial bond and each has a good impression of the other before actually meeting. Read that last sentence again.
