I want to work on updating some of my equipment and would like some suggestions. I'm also kind of tight on money due to economy. Here is what I am running now.

Speakers: Yorkville Pulse15 200 watt prog

External Amp: Yorkville Audiopro 500

Mixer board: Behringer UB1204b FX-Pro

I'm also looking to purchase new speaker stands and case for my amp, player and mixer. The stands I was looking at is between VocoPro SS 88 and Audio 2000 AST4396. My speakers are about 55 lbs each and would like to which set of stands would be best. I'm looking to get stands and case first then upgrade rest as I get cash coming in from gigs. Speakers and amp have been working well but they are getting old. Also looking for a decent cordless mic(not rechargable) and floor moniter. Thanks you for any help.

I used the Yamaha S115's and they're 60lbs each. The stands I have settled on are the Ultimate TS-80B stands. For my needs and experience they have the best price/performance/durability. I may jump for the T-100 someday as my back my not handle the raising of those stands forever :)

Not sure if you mean a case for equipment or a bag for the stands. I'll go with the latter and tell you I use an On-Stage SSB6500 for the stands. It's a great bag for those stands.

If they are working OK for you, I wouldn't bother changing. You are going to have to spend $1000-1400 to do too much better.

Neither in my opinion. I would go for the OnStage air-cushion locking:

$5.00 more than one of the ones you mentioned, and much easier for 55 pound speakers.

Depends on what kind of case you want. If you were near me I would sell you a used one cheap. I have a couple of Gator cases I am not using after I upgraded to the rolling table style.

WRT wireless mics, I wouldn't buy a cheap one. They are a waste of money. I like using good wireed mics. The cheapest I would go anymore is the Shure PGX2 for $400.00. (I have two cheaper ones, the Sennheiser Freeport (rebadged Trantec) and an AKG WMS40, but the quality difference is so apparent I don't use them any more except for kids shows and public speaking setups.)
