I don't think that the VGA on the tv is an output and chances are will not work. You could give it a shot.
May be better off getting a splitter.

What are "composite cords"? That would indicate composite video connection, i.e. RCA. No computer outputs that to my knowledge. Are you using Svideo --> RCA converter?

I really doubt it.

If you get the Monoprice VGA --> {VGA,Svideo,RCA} converter:

You can go to the LCD monitor and a composite TV from the same converter box. Plus you get the very real advantage of not constantly stressing your Svideo connector, which is nowhere near as strong as a VGA.

That is a vga input for a computer monitor. I got 21" for a stage monitor and first tested it by hooking it up to a home PC. I wanted to keep it at home and not use it for karaoke.

I don't think that will work. Unless you're talking a broadcast quality monitor, consumer monitors don't have the ability to loop to another set. The monitors I've seen that will loop, won't convert the signal, so what ever format you send it is what it will loop.
