OK... Playing Devil's Advocate here.... What good will pictures of your equipment do? Assuming that the equipment looks like it is in the same condition before and after leasing it out, a picture wouldn't show proof that I blew out one of your speakers. I could just as easily say that the speaker was like that when I got it. Same holds true for the rest of your system.
As for getting everything in writing, that should
ALWAYS be common sense when you are doing anything in business.
