How does one split a video signal coming from a cdg player to multiple video screens? Any help would be appreciated.

The classic way is with an RF modulator and splitter, to the coax in on a television. You can drive a lot of screens that way.

I believe there are SVideo and RCA splitter cables -- I haven't had much luck with those. But I have been impressed with the way Monoprice stuff works:

The best way is to take the signal from the RCA port in the back of your player hook up to what's known as a Video DA (distribution amplifier). The DA will have a couple of input jacks and anywhere from 4 to 10 output jacks. DA's don't just split the signal, they amplify it, so it doesn't degrade. These days most monitors and tv's have straight video in jacks so you shouldn't need an RF Modulator unless you have an older set that needs one. I haven't priced one lately but Radio Shack should have one for under 30.00, if not keep an eye out for one on ebay. I have a professional DA (broadcast quality) that uses BNC connectors rather than RCA, and the adapters are cheap, that I picked up for 10.00 used. You can just split a video signal once before it really starts to degrade and sometimes depending on the monitors not even once.

KarenB is absolutely correct. Now that I think about it, that is one thing that a "karaoke mixer" does better than a pro sound mixer. They often have a built-in VDA.
