Hey,
Found my papers on the water heater. I have had it 5yrs and 2 months. It has a six year warranty.

Great.. now my pet peeve is I want a snickers and I've already got the PJ's on and I think the vending machine is on the 1st floor and I'm on the 2nd floor
grrr..
yeah Matt, I got that hot water heater cranked up to almost max and it's only a couple months old..I've also checked the pilot light and it's glowing.. sigh.. I'm just destined to be an ice queen I think
the true test will be in the morning tomorrow when I wake up, if this hotel gives me a cold shower, then I know it's a bad sign for me
Another pet peeve.... Do all hotels in Ohio have a thing against Coke-a-Cola????? What's up with that?? I've stayed in 4 different ones now and they all have had Pepsi machines. It's a good thing I'm not a "gotta have" kinda gal.. cuz I'd end up cranky then and we just shouldn't have that..

Foxe, on your gas water heater, is the pilot light flame blue? Sometimes a yellow flame will not get hot enough for the thermal couple to do its job. A thermal couple is usually the culprit if you have a pilot light, and they can normally be bought at Lowes/Home Depot for around 5.00. Some of the newer units have a fan that needs to be running for the main flame to come on. Ron

I'm telling ya (and I REALIZE this is wayyyy off topic) but get that SodaClub machine! I make my own soda, so I never run out! Not the exact same as Coke or pepsi, but it IS pretty good. And the Energy drinks I make more than make up for my particular tastes n Soda!

Yep I have a pilot light.. it glows a nice pretty blue.. it's a brand new heater, 2 months old, so I'm probably going to have to call Sears and have them come back and look at it.
Matt.. I didn't know they made such a creation to create your own drinks, but, kind of not practical to take with me on planes?? I dunno..
and Sorry BF4L .. I'm getting advice here now to deal with my pet peeves.. hope you don't mind hon .. would you like some popcorn??

Last night, as we prepared to watch a movie, my wife brought in TWO bowls of popcorn, not the one bowl we usually share from....
I, of course, wondered what was going on, but said nothing to her about it.
After a few short seconds, it hit me! AH HA ... of course two separate popcorn bowls... with no hot water.... what else would you expect?

It's basically the size of a 2 liter! Holds a liter bottle, and got the same size behind it.

Just click the demo video!
I have the white one... and if I were going to be out for more than a day, yep, I'd take it with me! !

For clarification ... This didn't start out as a post about pet peeves, it started out as BFFL adding another peeve to his profile.

hmm.. I dunno.. I guess
Subject = Got a NEW Pet Peeve. Anybody else?
when it said " PET PEEVE --- Anybody else" in the subject.. and I see the original topic is made by BF4L I assume he typed the subject as well, so it kinda seemed like an INVITE to post other pet peeves.
I guess it's a VERY good thing you have so much skill at avoiding conflict.. it really works for ya it seems, whew another crisis averted..
again.. lighten up.. amazing how preachy people can get about how this is supposed to be a FUN place to go to, and yet also come back when a thread HAS turned light, they can be the SAME people who feel the need to crush it.
good grief, seriously?

OK... Here's a new (old) pet peeve of mine. It pertains to several people on this forum (and also people on other Karaoke forums)....
The following line was posted in a different thread. " ...because we live in the land of pirates with poor equipment that are still working."
Again, my pet peeve is the generalized statement that says pirates use poor (or crappy) equipment. Kindly STOP equating Pirate = Poor Equipment. I'm not condoning those who run a show with a pirated library, but not all of them run a lousy (poor equipment) show. In fact, there are many legitimate KJs out there whose equipment sucks. I've been to many shows where the KJ is using a pirated library, and their show was GREAT!

I agree with you Cueball, I don't get to physically GO to karaoke all that much but there have been a few names that I'd personally rather stay away from due to sound/equipment - and they are quite legit.
and I've been to a few others who have come by their backings thru the backdoor, and have the BEST sound and setup, guess they took the $ and stuck it into their equipment instead of having to split it between the music AND the equipment.

It was discontinued.
Fortunately Snickers with ALMONDS is the same smeggin' candy bar! Got one the other day... ummmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!
