Has anyone used or heard of this type of mixer for Karaoke Shows? I read some articles here and decided to switch out of my behringer and into a yamaha.

Any input on this yamaha will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Swampy

ANY switch from the Behringer is going to be a big improvement - unless you are switching to VocoJunk ;c)
The Yamaha board you speak of is a decent board on their lower scale end but it sounds great & got some good reviews from pro-audio magazines. You might want to look into Yamaha new MG series as well.

Sorry Lonman the Behringer boards around here are very good we've been using our MX2004M for over three years an average of five shows a week 52 weeks a year with no problems. Haven't heard anyone else around here having problems either. We'd get another with no hesitation.

That's great! I know more people that have had BAD luck with them, myself included. A friend of mine that works at Guitar Center has told me they get more of that product back because of faulty - whatever (usually channels going out &/or bad effects are the biggest complaint), or they just come to their senses & upgrade to something more quality.

If you want them, take them. I would NEVER purchase another!!!!
