I got an opinion! LOL!

Radio Starz only has out vols 1-10.
#1 - Pearl Jam
2 - Dixie Chicks
3.- Dixie Chicks
4.- Barenaked Ladies
5.- Shania Twain
6.- Cher
7.- John Lennon
8.- Steely Dan (my favorite of the bunch)
9.- Garth Brooks
10-Garth Brooks

The Monster Hits, Helluvadisc and All Hits are virtually identical. I've also seen OTHER discs with similar titles that I think are spinoffs...

Matt

I think I'll try the All Hits disc AH8011, for $6.95 what's to lose? It actually has a couple of singer requests on it and only one duplicate to our present collection, netting out at $.46 per non-duped song.

The Hip Tracks disc I wanted has a singer request on it, but has 6 duplicates, and nets out at $1.80 per non-duped song. I think I will forget this brand, due to the aforementioned negative feedback. When the cost approaches $2.00 per song, I start thinking Sound Choice.

Top Tunes.......I will consider them when the need arises.

Thanks all!

I personally love the Sunfly discs. I have a few in the Gold Series (Madonna, Eurythmics, Kylie Minogue, Barely Legal Anthems) and I'm really impressed with them. I'm not sure if you got a bad disc Mike, because I have the same one with "There She Goes" and they sound great to me!

Anybody who's a fan of British artists really should check them out. They have a lot of great stuff that you'd never find on any of the American labels.

Actually, it was me, re invention, that had a problem with the Sunfly disc. I was excited to get it (barley legal anthems), but found it to be very 'midi' sounding.

I agree that they include a lot of British artists that are overlooked by other manufacturers, that I like.

I will try another one at some point and maybe it will change my mind.

check out www.mycdg.com. It's a site where you can custom build karaoke discs. They have sound samples for all the Sunfly songs.

I use Chartbuster for country, but i also found that they have some good "oldies" songs too...i own some Chartbuster 50's, 60's and 70's packs and am very pleased with them.

Sound Choice is a very good choice...a little pricey, but great quality.

Top Tunes is a hit and miss...i own a 60's pack and am pleased with it, while an 80's pack i have from them isn't all that great.

I just started using Monster Hits...have a couple of those and found that they are very good.

Good luck searching!

To the Chartbuster and SoundChoice, I would have to add "newer" Top Tunes and StarDisk's.

From a singer's standpoint: Some of the new Top Tunes disks have the best timing I have ever sung with (i.e. Norah tracks on TT196).

Also. . . Star Disk's have been good for the latest pop hits for not a lot of money, usually only $12.99 a disk.

Zoom has been hit and miss, I bought Platinum Artist - Pink, and am wondering what sheet music they used to cut some of the tracks, one of the songs was almost unrecognizable.
