I was reading the "Humorous put-downs" thread and it spawned an idea for a good discussion. I'm always looking for new humorous liners, either to greet and open the show, annouce a singer coming up, announce a singer finishing, and/or closing the show. So far I found some GREAT ones from some of the posters on that thread which I've highlighted here to get us started:

"That was the best version of that song I've heard ALL DAY!" – masterblaster

"That was Wanted Dead Or Alive as only Sean can do it -- give it up!" -mckyj57

"Go sit down and think about what you've done!" (to a close friend who purposely butchers a song) -c staley

For a light/empty rotation:
"Put in some more slips soon or you will be forced to listen to me sing another song" - michaelangelo1

After a wasted singer finishes butchering a song:
"NOW'S A GOOD TIME TO REMIND ALL OF YOU TO DRINK RESPONSIBLY"- jreynolds

When good friends just get done singing (good singers too) I'll Say "Nice try" specially if they Just nailed the song. –mroctober

Hosts, share some of your best liners that really got a laugh.

Singers, any memorable lines you've ever heard a KJ use that you thought was entertaining??

Unlike the other thread, this isn't just about "put-downs". Any good liners are welcome on this thread, be it positive or "negative".

One of my favorites. When somebody knocks them dead and the audience is screaming I dont go into filler but have about 3 seconds of rare silence. Then "was anybody listening to that? Holy Shyatt!!!"

As a singer my intros before the words come up'

Its so lonesome in the saddle ....Since my horse died.

You stole my wife... You hog thief..

In perfect Pery Como imitation... I left my heart .... In Guadalupe...
