Hello all

I work almost evrry week at various venues around Sydney - the one place I have trouble with has their own set of discs and a terrible DVD player to run them. The gap between inserting a disc and getting the song playing feels like forever. Also, getting incomplete requests from patrons means I have to go through thousands of tracks in a printed album to find where each track is-

My questions are:

1. How would I go about ripping all their discs (DVD + VCD) to my laptop? What software do I use? what format would I rip to? (Please do not go into an anti piracy fit - these guys insist that I use their music, even though I have my own very legit stuff)

2. Does Sax and Dotty's Show Hoster allow display of the next few singers at the bottom of the lyrics screen? Right now it appears that the next singers list is on a seperate screen to my lyrics creen.

Hi vtrod not sure on the ripping of the discs as they dvd and vcd so not sure if you will have to rip as avi as they maybe not normal cdg i think there was a converter that did mpeg to avi but cant remember the name of it ,most ones ive ever done have been cdg to mp3+g and back again.
as for the sax and dotty sounds like you need to drag the audience screen over to the lyrics screen ,i take it if you using sax and dotty your using an extended desktop so it just needs gragging over.
