Yu know your a Karaoke addict when:

Your CD+G's vanish and you tear the house apart looking for them and get physically ill because you can't find them and you think the worst has happened and they have been swiped only to find them exactly where ya left them but old age has bitten ya in the butt and you can remember the lyrics to over 1000 songs but cant remember what day of the week it is

You spend your 30th wedding anniversary night (last Tuesday) doing a karaoke show 70 miles from home...and your wife is home 'cause she has to work the next day.

(You also realize that you have at least a shred of decency left because you have a sick feeling in your stomach, wishing you were home with her).

You lose your voice while singing a song but you still want to stay and finish it, even with the few squeaky sounds coming from your mouth.

you know your a karaoke addict when:


You sign each little slip of paper with the first name of all your friends so that you get all your songs in.(it only back fires when you get three in a row and they pull the mic away)

you know your a karaoke addict when...........you wake up singing the songs you did last night,then at midday you start planning which songs to sing tonight.that night at the gig you hear some song and think"i can do that,i will do it tomorrow".

You're an addict when you chip your front tooth on the mic, but you don't get it fixed, because you say it adds character!

Or, you walk into a karaoke show you've never been to before, and if there is too much high end, you leave!

And, you pass up that special lunch with a friend in the middle of the week because you know you'll need the cash for karaoke night!
