I am looking for a new Karaoke Laser Disk Player. Does anyone know of a website other than the auctions that sells these used, refurbished, or brand new for a decent price. I do not want to pay $1000.00 at the local shop.

Michael

I doubt you'll find a NEW karaoke laser disc player anywhere. They haven't been made for a few years now. You might find the Pioneer 888 out there in some places but the price is still in the $1,000 range when you do. As a matter of fact, I just did an online search and only found a couple of stores that still have any in stock. 1 was still charging $1500 & the other $1000. They just aren't popular anymore so nobody has any.
You don't see too many used ones out there because those of us who still run laser discs, pick up extras for back up since they are harder to find & get serviced as well. The auctions are probably going to be your best bet, that's where I get mine.

There are different sites that sell the Pioneer DVL-V888 for under $1,000. Just type it in and there should be a fair amount of sites to come up.

www.geodatasys.com/clde2000.htm has a good price on a laser disc player, but not the v888. they have that too, but look for other options.

Personally, I'd go this route... and have a JVC triple tray as the CDG player!

Unless you want the DVD aspects. THEN I'd recommend going for the RSQ505!

I will keep those in mind. I am going to get this one I have repaired and start looking for a good backup.
