Jian, I've never seen ONE of them. (can you believe that?) Honestly, I haven't.
I may have to check them out tho.

Brian's Song, I had forgotten about that movie. That is a good one Ollie.
One my favorite from youth is To Kill a Mockingbird with Gregory Peck. I love that movie.
JD, I don't know about all that stuff and I really didn’t want to know. I just think the Remo movie is funny. The same thing with the movie Desperado, some people have gotten angry with me because they took it as serious movie and I laughed though the whole thing. But I really enjoyed it. I really like humor that seems to come out of nowhere. I’m not too crazy about over the top humor, but I do like some of the movies Jim Carrey as done, Ace Ventura Pet Detective and Bruce Almighty are both great movies.
Oh yeah, years ago I knew an old man that wore dentures and he played the part of my grandpa really well.

1941 Great comedy, so many little inside jokes that if you aren't familiar with that time in history you miss. I laughed from the opening scene to the close and most of the people in the theater just looked at me and couldn't understand what I was laughing at. I think that's why it didn't do better box, people just didn't get it.

You either love or hate bond's movies. Some view them as sexiest,; Bond ALWAYS gets his girl. If you want to try them get hold of the 60's movies. I love those 'high-tech' gadget he used. And also the 'latest' model of the car.

I am a Bond freak, Jian. Love the early ones like From Russia With Love and Dr. No. Once, I even owned a car like Bond drove, a 74 AMC Hornet X with the 304 V8. He used this car when he was in Thailand during The Man With The Golden Gun. Mine was a 76 model, but very much the same car. The actual Bond Hornet is in a museum in the UK.

Well, I am definitely a movie freak, thanks to Netflix. I typically watch 15-20 movies per month, I am not kidding. I have many favorites, like the Lord of the ring series, Godfather series or Blade Runner, etc. There are so many good movies and so many bad movies too. I will list some of the off-beat movies here, foreign or indie. See if you saw any of them.
1. Seven Samurai (big fan of Kurosawa)
2. Ran (Did I say I am a fan of Kurosawa?)
3. La Vie en Rose (I became a big fan of Marion Cotillard)
4. Ghost Dogs, the way of the samurai
5. Quills
6. Billy Elliott
7. Traffic
8. Amelie
9. I am Sam
10. Angel-A
These are only some of my favorites from the recent past.

I had an AMC once, but it was a Javelin. (loved that car... but it almost got me in trouble... I was 21, and it was a hella fast car)
(kinda like this one, but mine was green color) http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/c ... _front.JPG
Never owned a Hornet, but I know what they are.
Okay, okay, will go to the library and order the Bond movies and watch them:)

I have a few faves... my taste in movies is much like my taste in music - varied.
Donnie Darko What Dreams May Come Hellboy Night Watch Day Watch Pan's Labyrinth The Devil's Backbone Lost Boys (the original, not seen the sequel) Dogma The Mothman Prophecies Shawshank Redemption The Green Mile
These are in no particular order, and several are subtitled - I only discovered Night Watch and Day Watch because an ex boyfriend knew about them, they're Russian.

I have 2 favourite movies, depending on the mood I'm in. If I want a giggle then out comes "White Chicks" - every time I watch that movie it's through fresh eyes and get just as much fun out of watching it ... in fact it's one of those movies you can quote lines from and get away with it !! And as for my other movie, well it has to be Shawshank Remeption - how many people could would not find that to be such an excellent movie! Both outstanding movies
