So..good post on Compression equipment...sounds like a good addition...what about the true-tone products that can correct vocal pitch issues?...do they work well?..any recommendations on the best products (assuming they work)...and...do any support both compression AND vocal-pitch?

Compression yes, vocal pitch (harmonizers & pitch correctors) not so much, main reason they need to be adjusted every song to the key of the song plus why give the false sense to anyone.

That would spoil the fun factor for everyone else :D

But seriously I believe the unit by Antares is OK and TC Electronic make a hugely expensive but effective solution. There are issues using these with vocal monitors confusing the hell out of the singer. There is a thread running on this topic in the LAB Lounge here :-

Bottom line is I wouldn't shell out all that cash for one.

I would think that biggest use for these units would be in a studio for post-production of poor vocals...no?
