Been there and had a lot of fun at that place when my wife and I visited Key West. It was in late November, the weekend after Thanksgiving and a Sunday night. The rotation was perhaps 8 folks but it was a fun crowd.
Remember what time of year it is and what night it is. I imagine a June Saturday night crowd would be rockin

Man, I've looked at this twice and the host was singing and the same old guy was looking at the books.
It is florida after all. You sure this isn't in a senior center?

Hey coyote the politically correct term is "senior living facility" and I can promise this is not typical in south Florida for karaoke. At least not at my shows anyways. You would think it would be packed being its march and tourist season is in full effect down south. I bet you in June it'll be even slower than now if you can believe it.

This is so cool
I did get a laugh when the KJ started blowing bubbles towards the singer. I wonder should I try this?…. Nope, pretty lame.

I'm no expert on the Fl Keys, went down Friday for the very first time. It is considered to be "The SEASON" at this time and the town and every place was packed. I believe that "the season" lasts a few more weeks. And there was, surprisingly, a good number of "spring breakers" in town.
I learned of three shows: one is performed in "drag" and another show starts at midnight, but I never got to see either of them. I noticed the show featured on this link because the open window behind the singer is right on Front St and I had passed that way on Friday nite!
We spent about 2 1/2 hours there last night and the crowd was constantly turning over, but I found that while in attendance they were the most receptive of audience one might ever encounter.
About half of the folks in the bar area (where karaoke is held) are locals. What was interesting is how as the crowd changed the age group and genre of songs shifted as well.
PS: As I am watching, it is clear that Sunday nites are pretty dead in Key West; I hardly seen anyone walking by while that very same street was packed both last nite and on Friday nite.
There was an older crowd when we arrived; it morphed into a twenty-something group in the "middle" and back into an older group when we left

I am sorry for those that can't get it to play
Brian/Bryan the KJ didn't mention needing anything special to view the show and it just starting working for me when I went to the website

Guy just let the same two people sing two duets in a row. He just lost me as a potential customer. It's My Party and Love Me Tender are not duets in the traditional sense of the word. These two are the typical duet whores that can't or won't sing alone. The female is completely tone deaf.

Oh, that is cruel....just plain cruel, people in shorts and t-shirts and flip-flops. We hit a blistering 47 degrees today with wind and rain forecast for the rest of the week. So, while we still have our winter garb in close proximity, don't go showin' us what the rest of the world might be doing -
BTW, not my kind of show but hey, everybody appears to be having a measure of fun. Good idea, though...can check it out before you decide to go down and watch paint dry. Ugh.

My wife didn't think I looked hilarious. And her straw hat wasn't that bad!
