Use the ST OUT jacks in the upper right corner to connect to the powered speakers.

You sure can. That's my dream powered mixer. Powerful enough to do a gig with non-powered speakers, flexible enough to run a bigger system as well.

Yes, connect your powered speakers to the ST OUT L/R jacks on the top of the mixer. The on-board power amp outputs are located on the rear of the unit.

Do NOT connect powered speakers to the SpeakOn or 1/4" jacks on the back.

It ia a nice unit and so far Im pleased with it although it is a bit pricey but as I have heard over and over "you get what you pay for"...
