Hi

I`ve recently downloaded the 1.4 beta Autokdj plugin and it looks very good.
Following advice in another thread I unticked everything except the zip box when installing. The plugin is installed ok and Autokdj works ok and looks very useful.
However when try to play zipped files as soon as I use File PLAY menu item and choose the zipped file I get a message end of playback. The zip plugin seems to be installed OK and is listed in the input plugins. I`m using winamp 5.541.
The zip files do not appear in the file list unless I choose ALL FILE Types.
I zip the CDG and the MP3 file into a archive with the same name as the two files e.g
Disk-01 - song title - Artist.
Just wondering if anyone can suggest a fix or let me know where I`m going wrong.

I know a guy who goes by the name Jokerswild who knows autojkdj and winamp really well. Go to OurDJtalk, register and then go into the Karaoke forum, he will help you. I am The Wizard of Oz over there.

I know it worked for me with an older version of Winamp but I'll be darned if I could get it to work with ver 5.54. - just like you couldn't. Any way I found a different zip file plugin for Winamp and I tested and yes it works with version 5.54

As far as having to select all files in the "play file" drop down menu, something you have to live with although you could just drag and drop to a playlist and go from there. OR while you cant use the Add Media to Library to add zip files to the Media Library, you can drag and drop your zip files on the "Media Library Pane" (thereby adding them to the Media Library) and then use the search bar to search your zip files.

First you have to go to archived files in the options menu and click the checkbox for zip files. that should free it up for you. at least it did for me.

Thanks Danny, yes that does work although after checking that box you then have to go to file types and include zip files as an associated file type and then you can add them through the Add Media to Library.
