Looking for advise on wiring a - Male XLR to 1/4". I need to plug the 1/4 into the receiver of an AT freeway cordless mic, and the male XLR into a Behringer 3 channel mixer (DX 626). I know it probably doesn't matter, but for the sake of not having the "hum" should I use a balanced or non balanced 1/4 jack. I have a stockpile of extra connectors that I've save thoughout the years from bad cords etc so I'd just as soon solder the thing together myself then go buy one.

There is an adapter that you can buy at Radio Shack but its pricey, 11 or 12 bucks.

PM ME. - I'll Help you on getting a quality one. Or I can make one for you if you really want. :D They are really not that expensive any pro music store with thier head on straight should have one..

For that porpose YOU could do it if the proper materials were provided. They just take some time & thought to do.
