out of interest what price are they there?
here they are priced at the lower end of the market. I can purchase an active 15in for $750 each (bout half the price of 1 entry level jbl)
My supplier tells me they are just as good but no-one wants to buy them cos people insist on purchaing jbl and other name brands.
They are built like the proverbial brick ****house. In fact my only criticism is that they are too heavy for me to carry alone now I have no cruciate ligament in either knee.
I did a gig a couple of years ago where I was the opening act...I did 3 hours and the following band did 4 (christmas dine and dance) when we set up and sound checked in the afternoon the other band were really concerned cos their EV's had considerable drop off at the back of the large area (it was 4 rooms 11mx14m all opened into one big room) whereas even at low volume my speakers carried right to the back. Now their speakers cost at least twice what mine did, but they still plugged into my rig that night to give them the best volume and depth of sound available for that particular area.

I take that back. I mispoke. Thinking of something else I guess.

So Bob, tomorrow is going to be like Christmas in April for you. Don't forget to let us know how things go.

I won't be able to sleep tonight. I'll come home early, see them and then have to leave to do my BBBS stint at school and then come home to play at 3:30.

That was funny. I didn't actually take any clothes off!
The bass coming out of the yorkies is purely unbelievable. I played wild thing by tone loc and I had to keep checking to see if I had unknowingly turned my sub on. They are very loud, very proud. Real test will be when I get them to a gig that the room is bigger than my dining/living room.

That post doesn't do them justice. The quality of the overall sound is pure. Pure, well pure. Off to bed again.

Told ya. Those Yorkies are really superfantabulous. Worth every penny! You've made the right decision by spending the extra dollars. Congratulations!

My contact at Yorkville will be very interested in what you "did" with the speakers. Wonder if there's a law against it? . What do you think of them against other speakers (Mackie, JBL, Peavey, EV, etc).

Sorry babe. I appreciate you trying to help me out. I just look at these little 12" in comparison to the big 15" behringers and listen to the clear clean music coming out of them and it makes me wish my prom event was this weekend instead of next weekend.
By the way, thanks for the contact and advice JD!

Sorry to hear that the cost to the end user is prohibitive in NZ Vicki. I have connections with equipment prices but I have yet to crack the world of shipping.

It's all good. All the reviews were good, all I could find bad in reviews was about the bass coming out the back muddled (who cares?) and no tightening bolts. Which would be nice, has a threaded hole but not bolt.
Anyway I've been playing with these all day. I cranked them a couple times, even though very very loud, doesn't hurt the ears!
Lon, now I do have enough power and quality power to "rock the house"!!

I hope this means that they are pole mountable?
stand mount adapter means it is.

I'm curious about an update as well. I believe we were running the exact same system...Yamaha mixer, Behringer B215A's, and One Carvin LS1801NA.
I was considering a speaker upgrade myself, but can't decide between:
1. Gettting another pair of matching Behringers, or;
2. Upgrading to the Yorkies, and using one of the Behringers as a montitor.
Any input would be appreciated.
