Interestingly, when I listened to her, really what I truly thought of her singing disappeared - it was the fact that this little moth became a butterfly when she began to sing. It helps that she has one of those very typical 'musical theater' type voices - good pitch, etc., but for me really it all came down to the collective reaction of the audience...and Simon. One instance will never, ever break that stereotype. I just hope that she benefits from it financially as well, and not just the "Britain's Got Talent" machine. It's great that they don't care particularly about age, size, appearance, etc., and are only looking at talent. I don't think that will influence who gets accepted on Am Idol...and what a shame. Lots of talented singers out there who aren't in their 20s.

Saw this a few days ago. This chick rocks. I hope she makes millions and never has to work again.

I don't think she ever worked in the first place.

As a Brit I am amazed that Susan has stirred WORLD opinion by her undoubted vocal ability. I hope she gets to sample the life she has obviously missed on the past.

She works for a charity

I've watched the video several times. It is hypnotizing to watch and listen too.

Emotions are hightened when you know her story and what she looks like before she sings.

It's like knowing Danny from American Idol lost his wife recently and then he sings "Jesus Take the Wheel".

It touches your heart even more.
