Never done it before but dont expect any trouble Has anybody here changed one?

Just ordered this one link. It is cdg compatible although I dont do much with cd's anymore, still it would be nice to have the capability. I am totally laptop now and will never consider a rack mount or tower again. This was one of the last things that held me back from laptops was the inability tp play cdg's and this aint a bad price . I also bought a bigger HDD on ebay and will have no more external storage.

Do you have a link to the specs for your laptop?

On most laptops the optical drive can simply be unlatched and the unit will then slide right out of the computer. It should basically just plug and play.
