I'm looking for any reviews on two mixers the Yamaha MG82CX Mixer With Effects and the Tapco Mix.220FX Compact Mixer With Effects.witch one is better for karaoke.

I think most here will agree that Yamaha has the better reputation. I'm not sure if Tapco is suffering from the same problems as it's parent company or not but I must admit the little Tapco looks interesting. I did find a positive review on it. It would be hard to go wrong with the Yamaha as they have seemed to keep the quality standards intact.

Tapco = Mackie = Loud Technologies Inc

Tapco is supposed to be the budget arm of Mackie.

Tapco actually came first...then Mackie...now back to Loud and Tapco. BTW, the Tapco 15-inch speakers are very lightweight and sound great, even in side-by-side comparison.
