Don't know exactly how that works but I did think it was funny that they went from an inventory of cheapo party favors to selling electronic gear and violins and mics--and those prices aren't astounding me.

Looks like they sold out all their Sound Choice and most of the Karaoke Bays. I am not sure what the remaining brand is but I tried the Rock Duets and it actually sounded pretty good. Another sleeper was the Bluegrass Gospel as it uses a real bluegrass band but there isn't a lot of call for it at the Honky Tonk.

They are a bit disorganized so there are actually a few more CDGs hidden in with electronics instead of in the karaoke section. There is one Motown original background CDG and a Legends Beatles. It will be interesting to see if they will get in any new karaoke inventory or if once it's gone, it's gone.

Edit: Since I checked them yesterday, they have added 3 more pages of Motown Original Artists and even some Party Tyme.

You are right, I found quite a few hidden nuggets. At first I just looked under karaoke cds and browsed all the pages and I didn't see some of the oldies stuff I found today.

It also looks like they added some Chartbuster and more Party Tyme Karaoke which I guess would make since if they have actually teamed up with Amazon.

Edit: I'm changing my post because the site is putting discs up faster than I can look at them all. Yesterday it was mostly disco, today they've added lots of Chartbuster with some of the Artist Series and even a Country Hits of May '09 that includes "Shuttin' Detroit Down." That one is going for $13 or $14. So the discs aren't $5 like the Sound Choice and Karaoke Bays but if you find something you need, you still save a buck or two plus get free shipping if you order enough. Interesting development.

I found quite a few more newer titles I can use, plus a couple mics that look pretty interesting. However I am done looking for awhile because I can't spend anymore.

Had an interesting experience last night with one of the Sound Choices we got off of there--Male Country Hits. The songs on the cover and disc label aren't the songs on the disc--thought I had really made a mistake in our book when a fellow put up the number for "The Fishing Song" and "What Was I Thinkin'" kept playing--and "What Was I Thinking" isn't even in our books at all. Took a bit of time this morning to figure it out.

Just received an email that all the karaoke cds and dvds are on sale for $1.95 to $4.95 each at www.dollarstorejunkie.com

I haven't ordered from them in a while, but I am about to check out what they have.
