I haven't been here in AGES.... I can't believe I joined back in early 2004... I was YOUNG then.. now I'm old:( What is new with everyone? Does anyone remember me? (Probably not, eh?) Update coming anyways!

Everything is cool here in Cold Lake, Alberta. We were looking at moving, AGAIN (would be 5 provinces in 5 years), but looks like we might be here for awhile, which isn't sooooo bad... just boring, and too far from EVERYTHING!

My little Skylah will be 8 in September (again.. I'm OLD!!) and I finally got married:) (Yes, even though I said it would NEVER happen!) It's only been close to a decade together.. I figured we would make it official.

We are working on two of our sailboats, planning on getting them in the water soon, (mind you, the lake here only JUST thawed!) and other than that... my life is always the same.

Miss everyone I knew here, and wanted to stop by and say "hey":) (And this was my 1200th post!) Like to make it even:)

Ah Cold Lake where I got "Fixed". Girl you ain't old. I have a daughter 23, son 21, and two grandchildren (Ugh). I AIN'T OLD, PLEASE SOMEONE SAY I AIN'T OLD.

58 and not old. Swimming at the Y helps. I have racked up 65 miles this year so far. Also I think us young people with more birhtdays know more great songs.

Timberlea--Lol, "fixed"? If I understand what you mean, my hubby got "fixed" in Bagotville:) When were you in Cold Lake? Maple Flag is on now, and currently the sounds of jets are deafening. ACK! And.. yes. Old. I'm OLLLLLLLLD! 27?! Gasp. I guess for me, it's seeing my daughter growing up, almost 8... when it feels like she was only JUST a baby yesterday. And... we are TRYING to get back out east... but no luck. The hubby works on f-18s.... so, no NS for us:( Right now he's at AETE, which he loves:) But I would love to get outta Cold Lake. Esp. with the NDP maj. in NS! Yeah:) Wanna move home:(

Babs-- that's my birthday pic for this year:) I do one every year.... that was also my "holy crap look how long I let my hair grow!" picture for my mommy. (Who's a hairdresser, and has been on me to let it grow for years:)

My little girl just got all of her hair cut off last night, and I LOVE it, and am going to share whether anyone wants to see it or not:) I think she looks SOOO cute:)

You're daughter is SO dang cute. Good to see ya back... you should hang out long enough to cause some trouble in the forums, it seems really dead around here. (unless, of course, you want to talk about equipment or something)

I see you are still funny, old So you finally got married, I knew I should have said YES... Do you still speak French, probably not where you are Well, take care old lady from grandpa!!

Gilly, welcome back. We missed you. Glad things are going well for you. You still need to come and visit me in CA. We've talking about that for a long time.

Really glad to see you back on. I hope to see more of your witty and sharp comments here again.

Thing is that show was produced in my backyard. A short for a film festival became a a series for seven years and a couple of movies and a cult hit.

Micky- yes, I still speak french where I am... but, not as much:) I have some friends that got posted here from Bagotville that speak French, and Sky's hair dresser is French, etc. There is actually a surprisingly large group of Francophones living here:)


BlueStainedShoes- Nah, not a sasquatch... But, Saskatchewan:) (We live RIGHT beside the border). I'm in boonyville here. NOTHING to do. But, I try to stay out of trouble:)

Eben- We were actually just recently planning a trip to CA..... but then the reason were GOING, died last month. (Skylah had never met her other great grandmother, but we put off the trip for too long, and she passed away last month (The grandmother, not Skylah) There is still family around there though, so SOMEDAY we will make it out:)

MorganLeFey- Well she's a knockout, but I don't think she gets it from me:)
