Join us and post your song on the Singers Showcase link to the left, and you will get to have many people check it out and also leave you feedback if you wish. It is a very fun place to share songs & fellowship !

Any reason for being so harsh guys?
Truthfully, IMO you don't sing well enough for American Idol, but you have a fairly good voice and I think with some work you can improve a lot. Take CrimsonTide's advice and join the showcase here. You'll have a lot of fun, but don't get caught up in the fluff that goes on. Sing for YOUR enjoyment.

I listened to your recording. It's not bad! I would agree with what Cathy Carvel said.

Now that is cruel. HE has a decent voice especially for Elvis songs. I agree with Cathy that you should join the showcase and post songs up there.

I was a little taken aback by their posts. I've read some of their posts around the forum and they seemed like nice guys.
Oh, well. To each his own I guess.
socomicefox, I hope you don't take those comments to heart. You aren't a bad singer and half the fun is improving. Go for it! You'll get plenty of encouragement in the showcase, but as I said, watch out for the fluff!

I could hear a good voice through a poor technical quality recording.. that's a good sign..Keep singing ( I'm a non-fluffer)

I'd hafta agree with 'ok what now', don't quit your day job... & I'm in a good mood, imagine if you caught me On a bad day
It's not a good thing to beg for people to listen to you either, that's so tacky. Go over to the Showcase & I'm sure they'll just love ya

For me singing is just for fun... I am an amateur & have only been singing for 3 years, literally & would never dream of entering a contest cause I know I would just get blown away by the pros... I say the guy should continue practicing his singing before getting his heart broken.
Honesty can only help, not hurt.
