My Space is big around here so that’s what I use for my Karaoke site. I use Facebook to connect with my out of state family. Both sites are cool but I find My Space more user friendly. The best way to get the word out is the cell phone.

I have both Myspace and Facebook. I have a "band site" for Myspace, and find it works better for me as a business tool than facebook. I haven't really been able to figure out a lot of the facebook stuff (ie: what on earth is this "Page" you speak of? *laugh*)

Here's the link to the help/info page on Facebook "pages"

I use both & keep them both updated. Both have advantages & disadvantages, but since some of our singers use MySpace & others use Facebook, I figured I wouldn't ignore updating some singers simply because they only have Facebook & not the other.
Also have a Twitter account setup recently, haven't really used this one much yet. Have heard a BUNCH of my singers ask for Twitter updates.

I have 34 websites & counting that I set Up to promote my business including a myspace business page. I have also mastered HTML to incorporate into my pages. Once it's all set Up, you can walk away & let it practically run itself. I use Facebook mainly for socializing when I have free time which is far & few between... I rather be productive than sit On a site all day playing games... although it is entertaining. You would be surprised the business you can attract with a great website.

Hope all is well my friend :)

From what I've seen and heard, MySpace is "so 2008." Facebook would definitely reach a bigger crowd. When I hear of someone still using MySpace, it already sounds out-of-date. I have around 40 friends on my MySpace account that used to update their photos, profiles, and blogs constantly. Not a single one updates anymore. Though, IMO, it's SLIGHTLY more user-friendly, it's old news. Go with Facebook.

I have both...FB os easier to set up- but ya get more bang with the look of things on MS. FB also is geared towards people that you KNOW...not really to promote anything. MS has special music profiles that allow you to promote yourself and anyone can see you, a schedule of you upcoming shows and event;s and even video footage from a show. Ypu could even up load copies of the songs you carry for people to look at before they arrive a your show. FB..anyone wanting to be on your list has to send you a request and you have to approve that 'you know them" also FB doesn't have any of the promotional tools that myspace does that I know of. For personal use and finding old friends I'd go with Fb but to promote a show and meet new people- I'd say MS

Hello All,
I have both. Try to update them regulary. I'm getting onto twitter now and linked in but I'm very very computer illiterate.
