All depends on the size of the stage/staging/singing area. If it's a large stage then 2 monitors would be more benificial than one.

It depends upon the venue and size. In a good venue I place a wedge angled at an angle from the graphics monitor. Then it is possible to hear monitor or mains by moving on the stage. In those venues I find the "sweet spot" where i can hear both and adjust as needed. Most karaoke singers are glued to one spot with their eyes glued to the screen and you have to teach them how to adjust. If singers get used to hearing the mains only they dont like monitors.

Can you tell me how to connect the Kustom monitor to the yamaha emx512?

You have to run in mono, with the main/mon switch set to the appropriate position. Then your main speakers get connected to A1 and A2, and the Kustom monitor to B1. Careful not to turn up the monitor too far! Those KPC10M speakers only take 100 watts, and you could blow them if you turn it up too much. If you don't own one already, you might switch to the KPC12M.

Just make sure I am understanding....normally I would plug both speakers into the back with 2 seperate speaker cords. Now, I will plug the speaker into A jack in the back and then use a 2nd speaker cord to connect the two speakers together. Then, plug the monitor into b jack in the back. I already have the KPC10 so I will just be careful to keep the volume truned down on it using the monitor volume on the front, correct?

I only have one A jack in the back. There is another input beside it on the back, it is says "lock" on the top. How do I access a second "A" jack? Sorry to be so much of a bother but this is all new to me.

The EMX512SC has four speaker jacks in back, I thought. A1 and A2 should both be usable. Or you can daisy chain the two speakers together as you said.

I have the EMX512sc and the second "A" jack or what looks like a second jack is smaller and my regular speaker cord will not fit.

So it is ok to "daisy chain" the 2 speakers together? Will this limit the output or make it sound different that when I use "A" and "B" for the speakers without a monitor? Do I have to worry about the volume to the speakers that are "daisy chained" together?

Yes, as I said, you can daisy-chain them.

It will sound different -- it is mono. Mono is arguably better for clubs, as everyone can't sit in the stereo sweet spot.

Also, since the impedance goes down to 4 ohms, you are splitting 500W of power to the two speakers. That will have a (very minor) effect on top-end volume, as the spec is 350W into the 8 ohms. It should not be too bad.
