Alot of Karaoke KJ have said how much they like SC Spotlight disc....well then I got good news ..SC is currntly working on 3 brand new spotlight disc..SC rep said she thought there would be 2 pop and 1 country but did not have a release date as of yet but at least its good news.

Hopefully they are not just rehashes of the recent powerpicks discs. I wonder if they'll be UK-produced again (and what causes SC to do things that way sometimes)?

That's fine, but why didn't you reply where I actually asked the question? I didn't ask the question here, nor even in this forum. Kind of confusing for others.
Anyway did you get the rest of the question answered from them? Whether they are issuing new music on the new Spots or compiling the latest Power Picks as they have in the past. If the latter (which I am betting), then it's a complete waste on their part IMO as most of the kj's probably either bought the Power Picks or didn't buy them in the first place because they already had the songs. I know personally I won't buy the Spots if they are compiled PP discs from the last couple months.

I talked to martha from SC all she said is that they were working on 3 spotlight..she had no idea what would be on them she just said she thought there would be 2 pop & 1 Country....so until she tells me something else I dont know..... sorry....also I only pass on what Im inform of ..if anyone has any dout about what I pass along about releases..please feel free to check for yourself..I pass the info along out of kindness but .....I dont have to...I m just usually inform before others...most of the time..anyway...

I just talk to chris from SC ..and asked him if he could talk to the powers that be and get some info on the new spotlight posted..he said he didnt have a list of songs yet but he would contact someone about posting something on the forum..so we will have to wait and see what happens

I dont post on the SC boards any more so any questions to me need to be directed here..Im on the phone every 2 or three days with CB ..SC..Pop Hits Monthly...Party Tyme,,Disney., Sunfly..Zoom.. just to keep up with what going on...I just dont sit around and wait to see whats going to come out ...I find out!!!! ..UNlike most karaoke businesses..I believe in foot work and being ahead of the other guys..this is has what set Gemini Karaoke where its at today in Salina...

1) Know what coming out before anyone else
2 ) Keep up on New Music
3) Know what everyone has..in the area..have it and stuff they dont
4) Radio ..Tv and Newspaper spots
5) Booths at local fairs

and other stuff...what set some KJs from other is also the love ..passion and drive to develop the best in entertainment..which might mean alot of foot work but its worth it in the end
