Got my disc today and inserted it for downlaod in HP w/vista home premium. I did not remove the free compuhost trial first. It looks as though compuhost loaded but the set-up screen never appeared, Just went to the start new session paage. I also attemped to rip a disc and it is not showing up, what should the destination file be "C". Total newbie to compuhost but pretty computer savvy.

I am checking automatically import to songlist in preferences. No luck.

Try setting up a new folder and moving the songs on the c drive to it.

Nipitnthbud, when you created the folder, you need to give it a name, like "karaoke songs" for example. Then when you're ripping, for the destination folder, you put c:karaoke songs. That way Compuhost knows where to find the songs. Hope this helps.

I created a folder c:karaokecdg ripped the disc and I have no songs in compuhost and I checked import to songlist automatically. Just not working, I must be missing something. I can locate the file in drive c but not in CH. Is there somethinmg I am missing in "Vista". There has to be something.

Are you refreshing the songlist after you rip the disc? What I do is after I rip a disc, I will "X" out of CDGRIP, it will say are you sure, I click yes, then it will say don't forget to "Refresh" the songlist, click ok, go up tto songlist, click refresh songlist. then go to view songlist. Select a track and play it to insure that it ripped ok, then go to the next disc and do the same thing. Also, you don't have to type the destination folder name each time, just click search destination folder, and click on the folder and it will appear in the destination folder window. Hope this helps.
