Karaoke Forums

Friends? How many individuals in the forums do you truly consider friends - acquaintances surely, but friends? For the most part, if not all, we are drawn here because we have one thing in common – karaoke. This commonality is what bonds us.

Case in point – When I first joined I had several individual that I spoke with on daily bases for several years. Something happened they left the forum for reasons unknown to yours truly. I’ve never heard from them again. I thought we were friends, I know – I can be naive. Our relationship was based not on friendship but solely on what we had here in the forum.

One the other hand there are also several individuals I truly have become friends with and I really admire. On in particular - Vickie. We’ve kept in touch over the years, even when I disappear for a year or two; she genuinely cares about people, not what they have in common. Hopefully someday I’m going to meet her, along with several others.

I’m always saying that if you’re not paying my bills and I’m not sleeping with you that you can’t get to me. Well, that’s not really true because there are a number of people on here that I have learned to trust as friends.

Hmmm... well I'd hafta say, the more people I meet, the more I love animals !

I myself find that friends come & go On the net... what I mean is, I have met many friends On the net whom I consider dear to my heart & just cause we may not keep in touch for a while or at all, doesn't change what I feel for that person & when we do get in touch, it's like we didn't skip a beat
