Anyone heard them.
5.25 speakers.
7.5 Lb in weight.
Tiny.
Dont know if I can take them seriously.
For the price, Mackie think you can.
I only want one as a monitor.
SPL of 120 overkill for me. As is 150W.
I have an omnipresent sub to fill the low end.

Feedback please. OK pretty please.

They work really well as a hot spot monitor, I wouldn't recommend them as a stage wedge though. They're great for what they're designed to do which is to be a personal monitor used for a solo musician or a very near field for a single musician in a group. Try to use them for more than they were intended and you'll be disappointed.

What is good. I don't need more than 50W.
I have a sub that is omni present.

Jerry, this is what I use...a Yorkville C120P mounted to the singers monitor stand.
It is only a 5 inch 80 watt, but in relation to where the singer is it is more than enough...I also think the SRM150 would work fine for you also.

I bought a TC-Helicon active voice monitor which has a 6.5 speaker @120 watt program. I am very happy with what that little giant puts out.

We use a SRM350 as a monitor for our karaoke singers and while it is more than we need I just control the volume using the Yamaha AUX channel. It works very well and can double as a backup for the (2) SRM350 mains we use. It has a 100hz crossover button on the back so you can cut low end. I think the Mackies are overpriced but I purchased 2 B-stock closeouts for cheap and 1 used.

Got to admit, after the comments from letitrip I had given up on that one.
Thing is, it is only to boost the sound for the singer.
Some but not much sound can be heard from the mains.
I have a Peavey 15" powered monitor now and don't want to go backwards.
The weight of them are ok but size...
I drive a firms car, a Vauxhal Corsa.
It is so small.

Which way do I go...?

Ok I am going for the JBL Eon 10 G2 active.

Am I going in the right direction ?

Just got it on ebay for £133.

Jerryy Thats the one I use for a monitor. That lil speaker never fails to amaze me. In a pinch a couple of times I used it for a main in small venues. Also for "fill" or putting sound to another room. You will not be dissapointed. Rember it has a ninety degree dispersion and you can angle it to get rid of feedback sometimes.
