I am soooo sad about this. Dirty Dancing and Ghost are among my favorite movies....oh well, and Road House, of course....sad day.

Cool guy, I love Road House. That movie introduced me to another great artist Jeff Healey. Now both are gone.

Just read that on Yahoo a bit ago.... terribly sad news, though expected.

He was one of my favorites, right up there with Mel Gibson, (imo). What a loss. :(

I loved Road House... as well as his other movies... but my favorite bit of him, ever, was his SNL skit with Chris Farley, where they were auditioning for Chippendale:)

Very sad indeed !

Cancer is such a horibble disease. It takes way to many people before their time.

Just sang She's Like the Wind last night in his tribute. I didn't do a good job since last time I heard this song was 10 years ago. However, it's the thought that counts. RIP Patrick.

never too late Babs. You have your selection of She's Like The Wind, I've Had The Time Of My Life, and Angel Eyes that Patrick was involved with in movies.

And can add a Peter Paul & Mary song as Mary has just passed away yesterday.

And an MJ song.

I did a remembrance of Jeff Healy's Angel Eyes when he past last year at the young age of 41. Great talent. Some of his best music never took off as it should have imo.
