Mary Travers from Peter, Paul & Mary passed away and so has
Henry Gibson from Laugh-In.

I'm feeling a little old today having remembering both of them.

Who's next?

Yeah, I heard about those two. I am definitely going to miss Mary Travers. Some of my first songs I learned to sing were from PP&M. Although Peter Yarrow and Paul Stookey were the more active of the group, without her voice, the group would not have the sound they have. RIP.

What is going on with all the celebrity losses lately?

RIP Mary Travers & Henry Gibson

So do I, just to see if i'm one of the deceased. Anyone got any geritol??? hehe

Seriously though, indeed, RIP Mary and Henry. I grew up watching Laugh-In, and listening to Peter Paul and Mary. Very big loss in the entertainment world. I sang a PP&M song last night, and probably will do so again tonight, just in memory.

Thanks for the many great memories!

When I was leaving to go into the army, I played on my guitar, and sang "Leaving On A Jet Plane" to my mother, she still remembers it all these years later. Mom was over for dinner tonight, and when she heard the song, she said to me "That's your song, isn't it?"
I said yes mom, that's the lady that made it famous. Funny how some songs can be associated with a certain time in one's life. RIP Mary.
