If it's like the one that replaced it on KaraokeWH then you select the mp3 file and it picks up the cdg file automatically.

From the description, it looks like the V2G0 only plays MP3 files but not MP3G files so I don't think it was made to do the graphics. Could be wrong but that is what is says on a description of that machine.

From what I read on the V2Go website and from the V2Go 100 karaoke player manual, the usb port on this unit does not support cdg or mp3+g

"USB port for playback of audio/video files on HDD and Flash Drive. Formats supported include CD, WAV, WMV, MP-3, AVI, MPEG-4, DIVX, JPEG "

I just used a V2Go 100 PLUS with a USB stick. It would not read the MP3G files within the zipped folder. Once I extracted them, it worked fine.

The V2Go 100 (original model) I understand, does NOT play MP3G's, but the newer ones marked PLUS, will.

BTW, they are 99 bucks at Guitar Center!

Nice, complete and informative post Chris G. It filled in the blanks.

Now Charbonez has the answer he was looking for, although not the one he wanted. Sorry Charbonez

I have a V2Go GO-100 Plus player without manual, and it has power but does not have display or outputs. Does anyone know what happened? Is there an online manual or schematics that I can reference?

Thanks,

hcemc
