Karaoke Forums

Hi all,
Been reading the forum for awhile and finally took the plung to register. Currently reside in NJ but will be moving to FL soon. I am considering singing in some of the private clubs in the (FL) area using the karaoke CD's as my band! I'm intersted in finding out what equipment I'll need to purchase as well as where would I find the best sounding music. When it comes to equipment, if cost was not a concern, what would be the recommended set up? Not sure if I'll be getting any direction (or suggestions) through this "newbie" forum but I know somehow, somewhere I'll be able to use this site to answer this as well as all future questions!

A little town called Englewood located on the west coast. Half way between Ft. Myers and Sarasota.

You will definately get some good info from this group!!

If you are strictly using the discs as "Backing" and not as a "Teleprompter", you may want to start by checking into Priddis discs. Priddis has very good renditions, but not all of their discs have the on screen lyrics. You may be able to contact them and get a "Demo disc".
