My shows have always been know to push the limits..and this Halloween will be no exception....A candy bra eating contest ..what make this even more fun is the girls will be wearing them while the guys eat them..lets just say the aud will get a thrill...IN Dec for New Years our sexy bra and boxer will return for the 5th year..let me say this has become a trade mark for New Years here in Salina KS for Gemini Karaoke and the house is always pack...now after all that info...I was wonder does anyone else go to this extreme ???...all I can say is hey sex sell and it helps karaoke out to...

There is nothing karaoke about that. You should have a candy mic eating competition of the ladies; and the boys will have to wear the mic, to qualify it fit for a karaoke gig.

let me count the ways you are so wrong in the long run, but since I get paid to make money for karaoke establishments... decade after decade my advice is free and you get what you pay for.

The candy bra eating would get people arrested here in conservative Richmond if there were nothing under it. Partial and complete nudity is banned by state law in any place that sells alcohol.

Believe the bar makes money and it pulls people away from other bars on these nights as well...for me ..being gay ..I really dont care about seeing a bunch of boobs but if it bring people in Im all for it...dont care..i can deal with it.

Gemini, I think you've got EVERYONE topped, or should I say UNTOPPED with a night like that. I'm originally from New Orleans, and have seen ALOT on Bourbon St., but NEVER is sexual contact allowed in a public place. I can't think of anyplace where it is LEGAL in the US. Is this a PRIVATE club that you play at, or some type of "underground" club that only a select group attends. All I can say is that you've been EXTREMELY lucky that you, (or the club) haven't been raided by the authorities YET. Good luck in this years FESTIVITIES.

Sidenote: I agree, not related to karaoke in the least. I don't think your audience will be coming to your show to hear anyone SINGING.

Ya know, that's up to you. I'm certainly not a prude, and have been known get wild in my time, but I see issues with what you're doing that for me precludes me from going in that direction.

I've had offers from strip club owner to host a private party with karaoke and strippers for their friends. As appealing as that was, I turned it down for a very simple business reason.

Reputation. I do not want to be known as the "sex karaoke" guy. I'm the wild and crazy party guy, which was carefully crafted to be just that. once I turn my business in that direction... will I be able to get the weddings, and other private gigs where a certain amount of decorum is expected?

My fear is... no. You're experience may be different, but my life long observations of such things say, "yes it will."

If you advertise what's to be expected at this particular show then who cares what other people think that won't be attending the show. Of course like other people said the problems will arise if people that aren't expecting this type of behavior show up or if law enforcement gets involved. Perhaps we shouldn't be so judgmental that this type of behavior constitutes that a person is a bad person. Different strokes for different folks. I doubt that any of us don't have a few skeletons in our closets, some may have complete boneyards. Rudy.

Well, we just had our first annual 'Pimps & Ho's' costume Karaoke event last night. The place was packed to the rafters as word spread about the event in progress. I'd say at least 35-40% of the patrons participated in the dress attire for the evening and the rest cheered everyone on. All I can say is, wow. What a night. I'm also the un-official club photographer and I got some really great psoes.

Once a month to every six weeks we have a themed costume Karaoke event they always pack the house to overflowing crowds at this particular venue.

One of our weekend bartenders. And what a bartender she is.......
and she has a great voice to go along with her.....

Do whatever makes your venue money. Since nobody else actually asked, I will. Once the bra is devoured, are their you know what's still covered in some manner?

No cover just bare..anyway just want to see if anyone did anything as crazy as I do..its just fun to know

my switch night has always been a hit also..guys have to sing girl songs and girls have to sing guys songs ..i cant tell you how floor I was when so many guys came in dresses or short skirts and wigs..I guess I wasnt ready for the turn out....oh well it just comes to show you never know what might happen..
