I apologize if this is in the wrong section ..?
WITHOUT getting too personal I thought it might be cool ..from a networking perspective to find out . Besides either singing or KJ'ing what do you do for a living?
I don't know ..In difficult times we maybe be able to "help" eachother besides karaoke ?
My full time job and the "industry" I've been involved in for 30 years is the STEEL SERVICE CENTER industry and now STEEL IMPORTING ..both which are at a complete STANDSTILL due to the economy.
My other "business" interest is a Comercial Cleaning Company which I've owned and run for over 10 years. I have 2 employees and we handle commercial offices etc. general cleaning and maintenance. I don't get involved in residential cleaning..that stiff is insane !! You could never clean some ones home like they want it !!
How about you ?

I'm the web editor-type person for Lucky Voice, the private karaoke chain of bars in the UK.
(Yes, I know how lucky I am to be able to do this for a living!)
I also write a music blog in my spare time and am a bit of a web nerd...

Also lucky enough to have this as my only job. Outside of the karaoke/singing world I tend to be a bit of a deviant, I like challenging (irrational) laws, dying my hair bright colors and rejecting social conventions like opening curtains. I also love psychology, the avant garde and baking bread. Similar to Johnny five I crave input, but also have a passion for helping those around me reach their full potential.

Have a go at it.
OK... My full-time job is that of a Mainframe Computer Operator. I monitor a console for different messages, answer the phone with User problems, and interact with other support areas to solve those issues. For the most part, I monitor our Batch Processing in the evening, to make sure the jobs are running OK, and that we meet our critical deadlines. I have been with my comp[any for 27 1/2 years now.

I'm an office manager for an accounting office. I'm stuck behind a desk by day, so being a karaoke host is a nice alterego.

When I started hosting I was a nurse....
But I had a fall some time before that injured my knee. My duties were very limited because of it. After the last surgery, I came home and promptly fell down the stairs and broke my (good) foot, and with the prognosis that my knee will never get any better, I am now just a host.
I would love to be back nursing as I miss it, and the people I worked with, but I do make more money hosting than I did nursing.

I own a small consulting business focusing on e-commerce. I do computer programming and system administration for that, when they can get me to work instead of travel and sing.

I'm retired, for about 10 years now. My field was automotive, master certified. I owned my own 8 bay shop for a number of years when I retired due to some old war injuries from the Nam that has come back to haunt me big time. I'm rated well over 100% disabled by the VA. I operate a number of web sites on the side and take in as much Karaoke as my old worn down body can handle.

As a hobby, and out of necessity, to save money, I used to build computers. I can still throw together a desktop and I could probably do the same with a laptop, but I just can't be bothered anymore.
And I still get people wanting me to fix their computers. I haven't the patience anymore.

By day i'm a super hero, and by night a super villain!!! Just kidding. The day job keeps me right behind a computer desk detailing drawing for a steel building manufacturer. Really a good job, makes me think hard sometimes (anyone got an aspirin?). Quite challenging sometimes, but fun for the most part.
As far as other hobbies go besides karaoke? I garden, fish, and like to tinker with old cars. Not to mention I am a full time dad with sons that keep me guessing all the time.
