Being that I'm a HUGE KISS fan, I bought the album yesterday....It's pretty good, but does fall into the category...If you like/love Kiss you'll like/love the album. There is no surprises.....hence I love it. Whether or not any of it makes it to Karaoke don't matter to me really. I can't sing Paul Stanley for %*&&#*!!, I do attempt a few of the older songs, but mostly of the Gene Simmons catalog...which I can't really do either.

This is the Kiss w/out Peter and Ace? That's what I heard and reason I'm not going to their concert

Yes it's without Ace & Peter, however Tommy (helped write & produce KISS albums beginning in the 80's & Eric (replacing Eric Carr after his death) - do a great job & now don the ACE & Peter costumes. Their show is still very much of the 70's orientation heyday! Still worth it IMO.

Supposedly it's supposed to hearken back to their 70's glory but it sounds more like their 80's stuff. In fact if this album came out originally in the 80's it would probably totally fit in. I can imagine a few of the tunes being made into karaoke tracks. How long does it typically take for a new song to be made into a karaoke track, anyway?

One track that I don't think anyone makes is C'mon and Love Me off their Dressed to Kill album. If anyone ever finds that, let me know!

It is more like the 80's stuff. Listened to it through about 5 times now, a few of the songs are really starting to grow on me!!!
I always wanted "I Just Wanna"
