My regular thursday KJ says that a rival company stole one of his books so he won't even let us take it back to our table anymore! I know about all the junk going on here in Phoenix but i don't think that this other company would send in spies to steal a book...has this happened to anyone else?

1st they steal your books - then they steal your host - then the customers and finally they steal your gig. LOL

I think a kJ who won't let you take the book to your table is a little PARANOID LOL

Books are expensive to print and bind, particularly if the KJ you're referring to has a loaded hard drive!

And I've had at least 3 or 4 books stolen from me. It could simply be a competitor wanting to take inventory of what they may not have; I dunno?

I've never had a book stolen yet. I wouldn't be to surprised by it though. It's part of our job to replace things when they get old, broke or stolen. LOL He should just replace it.

I think the guy is paranoid too - so what if one book goes missing. I wouldn't inconvenience my singers. The chances of it happening again soon are rare.

It's not like there is a market out there for selling stolen karaoke song books.
Yep paranoid

It's part of the business. I've had books walk out the door. Sometimes they come back, sometimes not. I don't worry about if a competitor wants to drool.... Half the discs I got & versions are no longer available anyway.
