You will always have the guy who loves you no matter how you mix it.

The key is repetition. If I hear the same things over and over again, good or bad, I pay attention.

couldn't agree more. Ive been to enough shows to know that I do better than most, But ive never said I was the best, just that I do a good show.I always tell people that I TRY to be the best, but know that there is always somebody better. when I got into this I went to many shows and learned ALOT of what not to do, and some of what to do. I think many people try to be like the other shows around. I would rather not be like most of them.

Hello All,

It's hard to be the 'best' but you can be the 'best' at what YOU do pretty easily.

Are you the no. 1 Country Karoake Guy?
Do you tell a ton of jokes between songs?
Do you put on a little dance skit when you sing?

You get to be good an entertaining AND orignal at the same time. You may ask won't this be annyoing? won't some people not like the jokes?

There is an old addage:

"Some will, Some won't, who cares ... NEXT!"

Don't get me wrong I'm not saying you should not care about what you customers tell you or say to you ... but what I am saying is find something that makes you different, unique ... and make it yours. Some people will NOT come to your show because you dance while you sing... others will. There are going to be a few people that may not show up because you do ... but those numbers will be much smaller then the ones that DO show up because you make them have a good time.

Jason

The only one of our members who I know has come to my shows Im pretty sure was disappointed. I had one of those nights where nothing went right! so I know i was disappointed. I set myself up for it, had a fill in start the show (first time i ever did that) and it just went down from there.

Nope, I wasn't disappointed. I had a great time. Talking about last Halloween show?

I've had fun at a bad show. But I've had more fun at a good show..

Doesn't having fun make it a good show ????? :?:
