Anyway, we had a wonderful time and loved singing on your system Lonnie. It was so great to meet you FINALLY ... Keep up the great work. Will try and get down there again sometime soon with more friends.

You guys were a blast! Thanks for coming down, it was great to finally meet IRL! Definitely hope you can get down this way again!

I always carry my camera bag to shows - even my own. I enjoy seeing pictures of other shows -- Swingcat came prepared but had a flash malfunction. BTW, Swingcat is an ANIMAL on stage with his air standup bass....Very entertaining. His wife Linda had her first on-stage karaoke experience too, with my friend Lorri who is very new to karaoke herself. It was great to see some newbies get up there and give it a go.

NOW PAY ATTENTION!!!

Now all you newbies, wannabees, fakers, posers, those PRETENDING to be KJ's or think they know it all and even REAL KJ's who just want to see how another REAL PROFESSINAL SHOW IS DONE...............we're going to put to rest ONCE AND FOR ALL all these arguments about bringing personal discs to the show, drinking sodas or water, songbooks, having the original PAID-FOR source cd's/lasers, dancing at the show, fill music, MIC STANDS, songslips, hunting up numbers for the custies, AD NAUSEUM that keep going ON AND ON AND ON!!!

Hey Kurt, I agree 'cept for the CD display... which is very cool BTW Lonman. I picked up on that as I pursued the pcs... as a mobile guy, that don't make a lot of sense. If I played in the same club every night, I would definitely do that.

As far as song slips, I would say each KJ to his own. By the time someone asks me if I have it, I can put it up for 'em. Search as you type... can't be beat... 95% of the songs can be found with six letters. I just can't see it. 10 singers or 30, it all works out fine. Maybe if I had the 50 singers that Lonman has, I might think different.

I love the posters, and all and all the atmosphere. Very cool.

Dang... I'm 3000 frickin' miles away!!! Lonman... if ya ever get the time off, and make to the East Coast please come to the show... .

Dang me, I wish I could have made it. I have been so busy and tied up with moving, and the grandkids, and my son's divorce proceedings, and finding a new vehicle that wont break down on me every other day that it's been driving me crazy, but....
I'm now completely moved
Divorce is over, went well, and we have a regular schedule with the grandkids now
Vehicle problem...at least for now, Lmao...is solved
... so, life just got a little less complicated throughout the last month:)

Don't you dare have a get together without me again, it looks like you guys would be SO cool to hang out with. And Kurt, of ALL the times I've been out with you, I've yet to go out with your wife, so make sure she's there next time too!

She's been to Denny's before!!!! In fact when I went to the restroom for 5 mins and left her alone some MAURADING DENNY's DENIZEN came up and tried to HIT ON HER!!!!---"CAN I BUY U A BEER"---(I guess he got bored with the local offerings! -----come to think of it the same thing happened at the T-BIRD, first time we ever went there!

She's met u before and you've met her!!

But there will be other Seattle Runs...........in the not TOO DISTANT future---cant do it EVERY WEEKEND----but we'll make it work!

AND AS YOU WELL KNOW----we can always have a karaoke party at my house!!

Dang it, now I feel stupid. Was I, errr, drinking a bit? Perhaps so, and that's why I don't recall:)

I do, however, recall meeting her at the fair when you did the photos. I just... don't recall her being at a "karaoke night". Oh wait, was that the same night? Karaoke after the fair? That would explain it, cause yeah, I was lit. Dang me and my sordid past.



No, uh, I got the red Bronco. I looked at so many suv's, it was starting to drive me insane. I can't really fathom making Lonnie pay $300 a month on a newer auto for me while I'm not working, we really can't afford it at the moment. We put the new brake booster and proportioning valve on the Bronco... so she stops now when I say "woah":) And it's a gas hog, but was a lot cheaper to get me mobile again. But now I'm *off topic*, so I'll pm ya the rest.



I'll make sure I can make the next one- I'd like to visit Lonnie's show. I had talked to Kurt about this one, but we did have a family gathering yesterday (i have a huge family), we rented a hall and had food, music, all that blah blah... was lots of fun. So, I couldn't have made this one anyhow. I'm so excited to meet more people from here though...

Re: Karen's T-Bird pics: The cat in the White ball cap and Grey T-shirt is Tye Hughes---Editor of the Seattle Karaoke Magazine "Northwest Karaoke and Live Entertainment Guide" ---the mag that DangerousDan took out the ad in --much discussed in his ad thread. (I invited Tye to the T-Bird........since I'm the Oregon and Southwest Washington distributor and writer/photoger----Charmin's been featured in the mag before--at where else???---Denny's of course!!!)

So not only does Lonnie get out of town regular KS FOLK---but also MAGAZINE EDITORS COME OUT SPECIFICALLY TO HANG OUT AT HIS SHOW!!!
