Karaoke Forums

Hello All...

My name is Earl, and I am most definitely a Karaoke-aholic. I'm an elderly old curmuDJeon who's been DJing off 'n on for nearly 40 years... but only relatively recently joined the world of Karaoke. I'm a Canadian; a widower; a retired Fire Chief; and ex-military prior to that.

In addition to my disc jockey activities, I currently host Karaoke at a local service club each Thursday evening, and will soon be adding Sunday afternoons at the same venue. We're also in the midst of an eight-week long singing contest which I chair and host. (first prize = $1000).

Be advised that I fully intend to exploit the expertise on this board... and will be seeking advice on any number of points. Right now, my biggest concern is "too many singers and not enough drinkers"... More on that another time.

I'm not exactly certain how I found this board... If truth be known, I think it found me somehow... Whatever the reason, I'm glad I'm here.

I see Game#4 just came on the TV... so I'd better sign off for now.

Welcome Aboard! I am new here also. I discovered this site about a month ago and so glad I did. I have love Karaoke! I can still remember my first time, my aunt signed me up without telling me! Boy was I nerves! Anyway.... Glad to be part of the Karaoke Scene Forum

You'll find discussions about nondrinkers on the forum I think you'll find interesting. There are different ways to deal with them that not everyone always agrees on, but you"ll find some helpful info here. Don't be shy to post a question if you're having trouble.
