My pet peeve? I hold the door open for someone coming through behind me. As a matter of practice now I say, loudly enough to be heard, "Oh, you're welcome" because about half of the people will actually utter those important words.
I do this constantly! I just wait for someone to not say it to prove a point. but that's just me
common curteosy is very very slowing dying.
I opened the car door for my wife just last week and the lady in the car next to me said " My husband would never do that for me "
Sad.
