I was doing a private 25th Birthday Party Saturday Night and was just using my 20 inch screen for Karaoke and had the B-day girls name up on the screen with the scrolling message going on down the bottom. One guy was standing there just watching the screen for a few minutes and then said to me "Hey Ms. DJ did you ever think about charging for advertising on your screen" I thought about it for a minute and said no - but what a great idea for my regular Friday Night which I use the bar TV's as well. Selling advertising to increase my revenue. Just a thought - Has anyone ever tried this before?

I've done it in my books before. Doubt if i'd do any on the screens, our club is funny about outside advertising brought in house.

I use the Compuhost trailer as a selling point, to point out how I can advertise for upcoming events (related or non-related) at the venue.

I use it to put goofy quotes up, birthday wishes, upcoming bands at the venue.

I've thought about it, but never done it. My most frequent use is to solicit feedback on the show to my email address. With all the smart phones out there now it's worked out to be a nice convenient way to collect some emails for my mailing list as well.
