Compuhost update allows for a background image during a performer's song. Anybody have any ideas for images to display?

I was thinking a hunted house for "monster mash" and things like that. What kind of things are you doing with this feature?

Currently I don't use that feature, because my company logo has too many words, and I feel would be distracting. But Koyote, I think your logo of the koyote profile (the black and white one) would be a GREAT background image. I wish I had a logo that would lend itself so easily to that feature.

I wouldn't use anything too distracting. I've seen hosts use the built-in ambient videos as background and they take away from the easy legibility of the words.

If anything I would use something like a patterned computer desktop wallpaper where you can see there is color and texture, but it's not so busy as to obscure the readability of the words.

As for me, I prefer not to use the background feature, but DO use the slideshow feature between songs for pics I've taken of singers at my show. It gives the regulars a big kick to see themselves up on a 47" screen!

Just use the category and filter search right at the bottom of the page.

The singer in the background from a video feed would be cool if that's doable. Otherwise, I wouldn't want to get too flashy -- singers get a bit touchy if they don't feel like they are the center of attention during their time on stage.
