Hi yall, I don't know if it's the right area for this topic but here it goes..... I need to pair some zips to match the contents.... I am running vista home 64.....zcr freezes at 20% of a folder of 10 zips.....don't know if it just doesn't like the 64 or what but is there another software somewhere that would do the same.....if it was just a few folders i'd just do it the old fashioned way!

If I remember right, way back when I used ZCR, it would appear to freeze for me too however by just walking away from it and coming back later it had finished the job...it had just quit showing any progress until it had completed.

I also use the tools program and used zcr on my old xp and also it seemed like it froze but like you said it did finish but not with this puter it just flat out quits. I had an old cavs jb 99 that I had beefed up with a slave drive and like 20,000 preloaded songs that I had purchased from a company in Vegas. Well needless to say I left the cavs player to the dinosaurs.....buttons were breaking off and were having to push them with a pencil eraser. This was due to cavs stopped producing replacement parts. I converted the msg files to zip files and allot of the tags are messed up. So I don't want to have to unzip, retag, then zip up again. I still have my old xp so I will fix the files on it with the zcr. Thanks guys!
