Karaoke Forums

Does anyone know where to find the information necessary to interpret karaoke CDG files? I am getting back into programming as a new hobby...it's been a while since I did any coding so I'm practically starting all over with a new language. I haven't found any specifications for either the karaoke discs or the standalone cdg files that are part of an mp3+cdg pair.

Actually I found one file but it was not explained clearly (in my opinion). Anyway, any help would be appreciated.

Yep, I think anyone who has written a CDG player started with that. I did it, you can do it. Remember that this is a thirty year old format and it is all bit level. The more modern the language the farther away from the bits it gets.
