Hi all, i'm a new mwmber from NC, i have just purchased the last bit of my equipment, I am using a Allen & Heath mixwizard, 3 wireless shure beta 58 mics, 1 audio technia headworm mic, a HP laptop with somewhere around 50,000 songs, compuserve software and loving it all, i am getting ready to put flyers out and try to drum up some buisness, i've been a dj at our local southern gospel music radio station for the past 20 years, i'm really looking forward to hosting karaoke. I've read much of your posts over the past couple of months and it's really helped me setting up my system. My biggest obstcle was coming from my new laptop, which only has VGA out or HDMI, (NO SVIDEO). However, i did get that worked out, and everything is good to go.

Welcome! Looks like an impressive system. I can't remember the last time I went to karaoke and they used SM58's. I have them and I think they are the best.

I was wondering what you did to solve your video problem with the laptop. I have a similar problem that I have in the technical area. Maybe you can address it there so others with the same problem can see what you've done.
