Last night Craig and LJ from topeka was at my show and WOW they can sing matter of fact ..LJ did "SUMMER NIGHT with me and it was a blast..it was very nice...when they left..LJ walk over to me and said "THANK YOU FOR MAKING US SO WELCOME". ..hopefully they will return. I would also like to invite any other KJs out to my show if you in the area.

Gem pokin a lil fun atya.. About 5 years ago we went down to Branson. Crossing KS we didnt take I70 but 36.. We hit some town North of you on a Sat eve and I asked the gal at the motel where we could karaoke at.. She wasnt real sure what karaoke was but there was none around..

Nebraska and Kansas farm kids come out here to UNC and CSU in fact my neighbors are some now. They are good kids and we try to give them a home away from home.

If we get a Branso go again I will time Salinas for the weekend. You have to provide a designated driver..

I drove through Salinis a LONG TIME ago. All I remember of it was the snow on the ground, the crappy motel I stayed in(with snow blowing in under the room door-covered it up with a towel), the Mcdonalds I had breakfast at the freeway off-ramp,, the tow truck I had to call to come jump my car battery, and the Grain elevator by the freeway. Other than that not much else. No Karaoke---but this was before Karaoke was invented. Maybe before Gemini was born!!!

We, as KJ's, must be professional no matter how we hear about KJ's who sneak in and try to snake the gig away.
Those who know me, knows I treat all of them with utmost respect, yes I do have 75% of the visiting KJ's who find a way to squeeze a few patrons about "their show", even though I make it a point to mention their gigs.
I even have the worst type that comes in, he goes to the back of the bar and tells everyone there, that my show is to young and the music I play is horrible, unfortunately he doesn't realize, "WE DON'T PICK THE SONGS"...maybe he should ask himself this question, "Why are you here trying to get customers"?
Don't your shows have enough singers?
Thank god my guests don't sing and eat steaks at the same time....
(he does a steak house karaoke show)
