I don't believe that it's a matter of "right."
Granted that the tracks you choose to include in your library are entirely up to you, I'm not about to list a track that is grossley incorrect/inferior and that would be my decision of what is "right."
I also have to think about the rest of the audience. Most (to use the term loosely) karaoke tracks are designed to "sound like the original" whether it's a radio version or an album version. I believe it's important for the "majority" (another loose term) to hear what is the most recognizable.
This doesn't mean that I would ever switch and album cut for a radio version because that's not the criteria. However, I would NOT list a crappy version of a song (like the Pioneer version mentioned above) for a much better version (even if it's SGB) just because it puffs up the appearance of the library.
